2016-2021 Honda Civic Non-Si 1.5T Cobra Cold Air Intake System - Standard Bore

The PRL Motorsports Cobra Cold Air Intake System is one of the most highly regarded intakes for the 2016-2021 Honda Civic Non-Si 1.5T. Its CNC-machined billet aluminum MAF housing is designed to deliver factory-spec fuel trims (within -4% of factory STFT and LTFT) for optimal drivability and performance. The Cobra CAI is available with two MAF housing choices — a Standard Bore housing that requires no tuning, and a Big Bore housing that flows 50% more air and requires a tune. This Standard Bore configuration is 50-state legal under CARB EO D-878-5 and requires no ECU calibration.

Performance Testing

The Standard Bore MAF housing produces gains of 15 horsepower and 12 lb-ft of torque over stock with no tune. The Big Bore MAF housing produces 20 horsepower and 15 lb-ft over stock when paired with a Big Bore MAF basemap calibration on Hondata or KTuner, with larger gains available at higher power levels through custom tuning.
