Honda K24Z Oil Filter Housing Block-Off Plate Kit

When building K24Z motors like the 9th Gen Civic Si and TSX to turn out big power and 8,000+ rpm, the factory oiling system becomes inefficient and problematic due to the balance shafts used by the OEM oil pump. The most common and cost-effective solution is swapping in the Acura RSX Type-S PRB oil pump to eliminate the balance shafts and better supply oil.

This kit blocks off the factory oil filter housing location at the bottom of the K24Z block when performing a PRB/Type-S oil pump swap, and relocates the filter to the top of the block like the rest of the K-Series motors.

NOTE: The factory K24Z-style oil pump must be swapped to a PRB-style oil pump when using this block-off plate. Not doing so will result in the loss of all oil pressure.
