2016-2021 Honda Civic 1.5T WiFi Ethanol Content Analyzer / Flex Fuel Kit

PRL's Plug 'n Play WiFi Flex-Fuel / Ethanol Content Analyzer Kit lets you wirelessly monitor ethanol content from any smart device, or enable flex fuel via an optional 0.5–4.5V configurable output with a tuning device. The patented design (Patent No. D1099164) uses the factory fuel line—constructed with an EPDM outer hose and an ethanol-resistant inner ETFE (Teflon-like) liner—so there is no reason to replace it unless kinked or damaged, which improves both reliability and aesthetics. The kit taps factory plugs and outputs under the hood for power and ECU communication, so there is no additional wiring, cutting, splicing, or running wires through the firewall. All hardware and bracketry is included, and kits install or uninstall in minutes.

Ethanol burns cleaner and cooler and is more resistant to detonation, making it a cost-effective alternative to expensive race fuels—especially in higher-compression factory turbocharged vehicles. A flex-fuel system uses an ethanol content analyzer to read the ethanol percentage in the tank and a converter to send that reading to the ECU, which instantly adjusts for varying fuel mixtures.
